Birthdays | Mom

On Monday March the 21st, my mom had her birthday and we celebrated in family, having a little dinner and eating a dessert I put together on her request.

Mondays are somewhat dreadful, specially if there are projects and tests and other million things to do for the week. I am almost a month from ending my senior year at University and things could not be more hectic than right at this moment. Stress is flowing through my veins and there is a lot lot lot to do so there is little space for rest. 

#trueThat! 

This brings me to my next point in which I really think that maybe, just maybe, it should be illegal for people to have to work or do assignments of any kind, so there should only be one day to just stay in bed and have a date with a Netflix marathon of your favorite show. Yes please! 

Well, enough for the weekend (Sunday) rant. I just need sleep!

Weekend in review

I loved this weekend, it was really just all about chilling, relaxing and resting the stress of the week out of my mind and of my body. Yesterday all I did, literally, was stay in bed and just got up for a shower and to eat. 

In that time I spent just chilling there, I rediscovered one app in my iPhone I have been just neglecting. It was keek. Keek is that little app in which you record a short 36 second clip about anything you want. I am not a keeker, I haven't uploaded any. But, I do enjoy other people's keeks. My favorite people to follow? Any guesses here? Well if you said the Kardashians/Jenners, you guessed right. I just love me some Kardashian drama and laughs and craziness. I also follow Keegan Allen just because I love him! who doesn't? I am a huge Pretty Little Liars fan, but I love Toby the most out of all the PLL cast. 

I literally loved this weekend as I have already stated. I couldn't be happier, plus today i am putting together my timetable for this upcoming semester at Uni. Excited excited!

Therapy: To Shop

When a girl is stressed, she buys things to make that feeling go away. 

I am the living proof of it. 

I just came home from a shopping spree with my parents and it was so relaxing. I am 2 days away from midterms and I am stressed to the top level. Horrible. We bought some things for the house and some groceries too. 

I found the cutest sweater in the kids section that was large enough to fit me and that was a very good deal.

Very Merry Monday

After weeks of being very little caring of my blog and after a very good weekend rest from finals week, I am back! Vacations are so good, 3 months of doing nothing but enjoying the sun, the beach, writing on here and more!

I know it is a little late, most of you have already started gift shopping for the Holidays but I might be posting some last minute gift guides or something. This season is just so nice and fun, plus the decor brings so much joy!

Weekend Favorites + Update

Happy Monday Everyone!

I had a super nice and busy weekend! I did a cleaning spree at home plus catching up on school work, studying for tests and you name it! 

As November settling in, my schedule has become soooooo hectic! University is only a month to be over for this semester and I can feel the heat now!! I have 3 tests this week, and 2 projects to turn in. Yeah, fun stuff, I know! 

I am going cray cray with all the stuff I need to get doing that I feel I will be kind of posting less so pleaseee don't be mad?! :) I will pop every few days with some post and updates on how my life is getting like all jumbled up hahaha

TGIF: The Man Repeller dose

Lately, I've been crazy reading new blogs that came across my sight. Some are super new and some are THE statements of the era. I just love coming across new things for me to keep me entertained and just to have my dose of beauty and fashion related things. What can I say? I'm just that crazy (I'm a girly girl, what did you expect?) 

I came across this picture in the front page of Vogue. com! 

The Man Repeller, one of the most fashion forward blog into encouraging you to wear fashion how you like it using statement pieces and in the moment fashion pieces too, she has the most bizarre fashion sense but she has a talent of making it work. Like actually work. If you haven't come across Leadra Medine's site, well, I am telling you right now, that you need to go and read it ASAP. I came across Man Repeller a couple of months ago when I saw her in one of the Rebecca Minkoff videos, Rebecca Minkoff Fashion Week Boot Camp  and thought she was so hilarious that I had to look what else she did, and yes, I fell for The Man Repeller (isn't it getting annoying, me repeating things over and over again? sorry!) and it's been great! She gives a lot of her personality in the site and OWNS it.


So I thought of sharing this blog and hope you enjoy it and see what things she does with fashion that you might think "oh no, but oh well".

Eyeliner Moods

I'm on a crazy, bold and exotic eyeliner mood today (maybe it's because of the weekend?). I saw some pictures in a friends Facebook page and was completely inspired. Then I thought...How many eyeliner styles are out there that we have never even tried  out yet, but see on the different makeup artists records?

Here I found this amazing image about this topic of interest. 

I might try some of these in the nearer future, some for when I'm going out with friends, and some for every day. It'll be my personal research project.

Beauty Vlogger Boot Camp: Week 7

Hey everyone! 

Another BVBC is here, but we could only see half of the challenge. Buying and styling on a budget is difficult enough to do it under time pressure. Right I sometimes take 2 hours to pick up the perfect clothes for the perfect outfit. 

I loved this week's challenge, and as the competition comes to an end, the challenges are being more stressful and a lot more relevant.
