Friday blues

This week has been a little crazy, a lot of things going on at the same time. Finally got to see something that I was expecting for a week maybe.

I finally 50 shades of Grey, which to my surprize it wasn't bad, but it wasn't excellent. The movie is really sensual, not tacky at all. The books have way more graphic images for the mind to imagine and the movie is just artistic... and every single take is just showing you the sensuality of the acting and the script. I won't post any spoilers here for those who haven't seen it yet. And the soundtrack? well I don't want to say more!

I am actually really excited that the week is over.

Time to relax, time to have a well deserved break after a long week!

As November settling in, my schedule has become soooooo hectic! University is only a month to be over for this semester and I can feel the heat now!! I have 3 tests this week, and 2 projects to turn in. Yeah, fun stuff, I know!

I am going cray cray with all the stuff I need to get doing that I feel I will be kind of posting less so pleaseee don't be mad?! :) I will pop every few days with some post and updates on how my life is getting like all jumbled up hahaha

For now, I will leave you with 5 of my favorite things from this past weekend:

1) Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate (so good and cozy for the nights that you have to study your butt off) Check the recipe here:

2) Revlon's nail polish in Flirt

Sunday Funday: week recap

Happy Sunday!

I hope you all had a great weekend and had fun! I can say that it has been nice and somewhat relaxing.

Now, on to recap the Highs and lows of this week for me. IT all started on Monday. Killer day, class all day  and 2 tests to top it off. In one test I did great, on the other one..well it was tougher. But not impossible. Then, it all went smoothly in my late night class (World Economics) and after that I went home and fell deep asleep (I was super tired).

On Tuesday, I have a very random schedule, I have no class all day and at night is when 2 hours of class begin for me. It drains my brain so much. It is a very late night class and it makes me dizzy. We had a surprise test.Yes. HORRIBLE. IT was supposed to be this Monday but Oh Well.

Then on Wednesday, I got the grades of another test and it was awesome! an A. Please I know my stuff :) also another late night class.

I got two other tests, this time one on Thursday and another one on Friday. Interesting week right? haha I hope I haven't bore you to death till now. If you did, please forgive my uneventful week so far. On Friday it got much better! I got to go to eat sushi and catch up with one of my cousins! We are crazy sushi ladies. We had a blast and ate way too much.

Yesterday was baking day for mamma and me. We came up with a new cupcake recipe we have never heard of (I hope we invented it, if not, thumbs-up to whoever did too!). Mamma has the flu and she hasn't been feeling great, so I decided to treat her with a little sweet. It was rum and raisins cupcakes. So good. This is whats left of them.

And today, Sunday, we went for a little Chinese Adventure and brought home some takeout. It is dreadful to have to cook while you're not feeling so good, so I proposed the little indulgement (is that a word? I don't know haha)

Later we are going to watch some movies at home with some popcorn.

I hope you are having a great time this September and make it a good one!

Have a nice day!

Sunday Funday: Harry Potter movies!

I'm a total HP nerd and to have had a marathon of the 2 installments of the 7th movie just made my day!

It is the perfect way to spend a Sunday, just watching movies, and if are those, for me, it much much muchhhh better! i passed the notice among my friends, we all live kind of far from each other, but we all totally watched them, separately, and just freaked on over it.

I know we are such little dorks when it comes to Harry Potter anything :) <3 love is the key for everything you all!

I might do a series about this. hhhmmm I'll think about it :) Maybe some collabs on the way? maybe maybee

I hope you had a great week end and had tons of fun!

Lazy Days, Crazy Days

Hey Everyone!

It's Tuesday and I hope you all had a great start of the week and that it keeps that way till the end of it for the following weeks :)

It's been crazy these last couple of days! I have had so much things to do and I am so grateful for that. I got my Start of the Semester Letter from University and Today I am actually able to see the classes I have to enrol at for the next 4 to 5 months.

Time has past by so fast, that I don't think I have been able to catch up with all my sleep but I was able to catch up with some pleasure reading and with you lovely people on the other side of my computers' screen.

There are some times where I don't feel like doing much, those days I just curl in bed, covered in my purple blanket with my laptop and start writing, reading, sleeping (a lot), eating and just chilling. Pretty nice days and ways to spend my vacations.

During those days I wear sweat pants, a hoodie and fuzzy socks to keep me warm. I might also need something to keep my nose warm, it's the first thing that freezes, and the hardest to heat up again!

Also watching movies really help. I like to watch chick flicks most of the times and my favourite one is BrideWars! It is just hilarious and I never get tired of it. I crack up laughing all the time. Other movie that never gets old for me is The Devil Wears Prada. I see a pattern here, and Anne Hathaway is one of the most versatile actress and most real in her acting (maybe a style crush on the way?).

So these are the ways I like to spend lazy days, how do you like to spend them?

Blast from the past: How to steal a million

Hey guys!

Lately I've been so in to old movies, i love watching the old good ones with Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and more. One of my favourite movies is "How to steal a million" from 1966 starring, Audrey Hepburn.

This is going to be my special section for all the old movies that I am loving, that's the WHY i am calling this the blast from the past.

Starting with How to steal a Million. This movie narrates the story of a young woman who's father has become quite a fan of forging paintings from famous artists From Van Gogh to DaVincci and auctioning the creations for thousands of dollars. The plot line is fresh and amusing, there is no way you can fall asleep during the course of it. I think it captures the humour and the conflicts with class and with respect. The things that characterized the society in that era.

Audrey Hepburn looks beautiful in every scene including the ones where she has to dress as a maid to get out with their most precious item. The character that I loved the most, and stole all the scenes was the father, played by Hugh Griffith, he is an amazing actor and is hilarious and at the time eccentric to play the most high class forger.

I really really enjoyed the movie is one of my favourite ones till now. It is classic, it is young and I feel it made comedy a great part of the plot.

I sure recommend you to go and watch it and get in touch with the old good movies.

if you have some old movies to suggest feel free to leave them in a comment below.
