A poetical post

What could be better than love? I feel that food is an important part. When combined, the results are just exquisite. And for all the pervs out there, no I don't mean any kinky stuff involving both. It is just that how a passion for something makes people do it better. When you cook for the ones you love or just because for fun and your own delight, it is a thousand times more fun, more delicious and it all comes together to become one.

"This is an ode to food. The one which we can't live without.
That one single element were we can all pour our feelings on.
If we are in love, we eat, we cook, we bake. We are one.
If we are in dispair, we eat, we order takeout, we munch.
And again, we are one.

To love is to be loved, to eat is to be eaten.
But don't miss interpretate this, we can be eaten
with kisses, with laughs and speacially with love.

Every part of your soul shakes, it shakes to the very core.
Sometimes in a second and sometimes it lasts.
Sometimes you wish it was over, sometimes you don't want it to end.
Every molecule combines, and only love is what is left behind.

This is an ode to love. To the one we live for.
That one single element so good, that we can only smile about.
If we are in love, we sing, we dance, we eat and smile.
If we are in dispair, we scream, we write, we sigh and cry.

To love and to food. The most of life's pleasures."

I hope you enjoyed. It came from my soul. I used to write a lot of these once in a while. And a movie inspired me to let it show right now.

Have a great day.

Craving: Breakfast at Tiffany's

Today, I've tackled up 2 proyects! yey!

But now that it is the afternoon and I am a bit tired of everything (well...of the majority of things) I feel like relaxing for a bit, I love, love love love to watch some old movies, and by old I mean timeless. One of them is Breakfast at Tiffany's. I adore it, I can relax so much with it and have a nice time. And I've never realized that if you part Holly's last name, you get GO Lightly, you get it? hahaha I felt kindda silly not noticing it before!

This is a very short post, but I wanted to stop by and say HI! so HI!

Sunday Funday: Movie Night

Hey Everyone!!

I hope you all are having a great weekend! Here I am just freezing so much and all I want to do is bundle up in a blanket and do nothing for the rest of the day.

Yesterday was such a nice day! A very good friend from High School celebrated her Birth Day at her house with some other friends from school. Ones I had stop seeing for like 2 years. It was so nice to get to talk to them and catch up with the things we are doing and achieving in our lives.

Today I have planned to watch a movie. To be more specific, Pretty Woman, with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere. It is one of my favourite movies and I haven't seen it for a long time.

To pair this Pretty Woman night I will have some popcorn! and I will be forever Happy with it. Time to relax after a very productive first week of classes for me.

enjoy your day!

Blast from the past: How to steal a million

Hey guys!

Lately I've been so in to old movies, i love watching the old good ones with Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe and more. One of my favourite movies is "How to steal a million" from 1966 starring, Audrey Hepburn.

This is going to be my special section for all the old movies that I am loving, that's the WHY i am calling this the blast from the past.

Starting with How to steal a Million. This movie narrates the story of a young woman who's father has become quite a fan of forging paintings from famous artists From Van Gogh to DaVincci and auctioning the creations for thousands of dollars. The plot line is fresh and amusing, there is no way you can fall asleep during the course of it. I think it captures the humour and the conflicts with class and with respect. The things that characterized the society in that era.

Audrey Hepburn looks beautiful in every scene including the ones where she has to dress as a maid to get out with their most precious item. The character that I loved the most, and stole all the scenes was the father, played by Hugh Griffith, he is an amazing actor and is hilarious and at the time eccentric to play the most high class forger.

I really really enjoyed the movie is one of my favourite ones till now. It is classic, it is young and I feel it made comedy a great part of the plot.

I sure recommend you to go and watch it and get in touch with the old good movies.

if you have some old movies to suggest feel free to leave them in a comment below.
