I tried a couple of weeks ago something that has been popping up in my pinterest searches a lot. Infused waters.

Micellar Water: Lóreal Paris
A few weeks ago, my skin was getting super dry and I was breaking out like crazy and then, Micellar water came into my mind. I have heard a lot from people all over the internet and from some people around me that use micellar, and have told me the wonders that it is and what it did for them, so I decided to give it a try.

Back to school: Snack Options
Hey Everyone!
While I've been doing a ton of reading for classes just in 3 days back at Uni, I've figured out that snacking is constantly in my mind more than eating actual full meals. I am not skipping on them, it's just that I have more pick-me-ups through the day.
What I'll do is eat breakfast early in the morning, keep with my routine (reading, writing, blogging, etc) and I'll get a little anxious, or just plain bored that I have to keep me busy with something else while doing it all, I'll grab 20 almonds, and eat them slowly so that I don't run out of them too fast, and drink some water or tea or coffee. Coffee is what the majority of university students indulge in most of the time. One can never have too many cups of it.
After Lunch, sometimes I have class and I am busy paying attention to the professors and the subject that all I can manage, in a break, is grab an apple, or any other fruit that can be eaten with out making a mess out of it. And that is pretty much it, oh and the coffee to keep me awake.
So snacking is your best friend students! keep that in mind.

Another idea is to get some proteins going, take a piece of grilled chicken breast and eat it in between meals. The protein will give you more energy to keep going.
Also, having a snack in between foods will make you less hungry for the actual meal making you eat a little less than you would normally eat. This is a great tip for those who want to stay fitter and leaner and maintain a good weight range.
I hope you guys liked this post from my little snacking life and that it is helpful in your everyday activities.

UPDATE: Getting Driving license
Hey Guys!
I've been like a busy bee this month! i have been going to driving lessons so that I can get my license FINALLY. I've been driving like crazy and the theory part is the worst one of them all. I get bored so easily but luckily i have my blackberry with me so i can cheat a bit and distract my self a few seconds from the class.
I have been drinking a lot of water lately and also a lot of sodas....which is not good, but what can I say...I get distracted while I can and cheat a LOT.
As far as personal life, my grandma underwent 2 surgeries, one yesterday and the other one two weeks ago, everything went smoothly and she is recovering nicely. She is going to have to undergo treatment and when the time comes, I'll be able to talk more about that.
I hope you are having a great time the first month of the year and hope it gets better while it advances.

Healthy Spotlight: Blueberries
Hey there my loves!

Recently I've found that blueberries are a great fruit to munch on and as a great complement for cereal and oats. I know many of you might already like this combo, but i actually never got interested in it specially because the looks of it was not nice for me at all.
Later I decided to try it and see why many people liked it. And I got hooked. But it is just not the taste that fascinates me, it's also the amount of health benefits it provides.
Here are 3 main characteristics of blueberries and why you should incorporate them in your diet.
1.- They are great anti-oxidants. They help slow down the process of ageing of your body and provide you with extra energy.
2.- They help to keep in pin point your memory making it sharper and better.
3.- They contain a great amount of vitamins and minerals which increase the nutritional value of any of the food you pair them with.
Remember, good food pairing is they key point to make your body happy and your energy at a good level.

Update + Bobble
Hey guys!

I know I've been MIA this past days, but I've had a really hectic time in University, my classes are much more challenging this semester so I have to concentrate 120% on them because if I miss anything I might loose track and lower my grades, which I am not up for it. BTW, have you seen the new blogger layout? I think it's much nicer, haha :)
So, A very random post this is going to be. I have been eyeing a new product, called the water bobble, which it a water bottle that has a filter in it so that you can fill it with tap water and it will filter all the bad particles and impurities from it and drink it right from it. Here in Peru you can't find it but by the US it's much easier. I think it is a great option to have one of those because in that way you are not going to have to buy all those commercial water bottles which add up to contaminate the world.
It is a really eco-friendly product and I feel it makes it all better, right?
My Aunt is going to Cali for a month and I will try to convince her to go buy one for me and if she becomes interested she might pick one for herself also. People now a days just get more interest in being hydrated so, why not try it? You can find it at Target, Macy's, Clair's, GNC, Wallgreen's and more places. So I am in the hunt for it! wish me luck <3
Another thing I've been wanting to get is an ipod touch with the gadget that you introduce in your running shoes and tells you how many miles you've ran and how many calories you've burned. I think it is great to increase the fitness and the metabolism of your body.
I have not been going to work out, which is something that I MUST start doing again because I am feeling it. I think I might have gained a couple pounds but I started to eat a lot healthier and they are wearing off. But with the exercise i am going to tone my body.
I think this is the end of the post, keep an eye for new posts every now and then, when I am able to have some free time I might pre-write some and just post them some days of the week.
Love you guys!

Clothes 101: Working out Outfits part 2
Hey guys!
I know it took a lot of time to get the second part of this "series" but I have been watching all the new trends that are coming for the work out kind of business. Now people like the good old spandex pants and even use the leggins as workout pants.
In other words, people love been comfortable is the KEY. I know this is a recurring subject in this type of posts, specially for the girls and women that go for hikes and biking and even inside of a gym for dance classes or boot-camps that make you sweat your life out (FAT BURNING BABY). Now I was planning to make a side note and focus more on the people that like to build up muscle and tone their body and how wearing a perfect outfit can help you to be at the top of that goal.
First of all you need (again) comfortable clothes and a little heavy clothes so that you add a little extra effort
to your work out and push yourself a little further.
wearing some baggy clothes that can make you sweat, is the most important factor to burn the fat and start toning and building up muscle. Remember: always make sure to do the right exercises for the goal you want to achieve with a PT (personal trainer) or in the gym you go to.
A woman always need to have support, remember the essentials by clicking here to see that, and use a sports bra under those clothes. A hoody can make you sweat and it is not so light so it make your workout to have some more intensity.

I found a good deal on them in VS Pink collection and instantly thought that Pink= GIRLY, so I had to add some of their items. The one that I liked the most is the Yoga half-zip Pullover and it has a nice ensemble and comes in a variety of other colours other than grey.

They have zip-up hoodies and hoodies with no zippers, which I personally like the most because I feel that they are more comfortable and the zipper doesn't get in the way while you are running or exercising.
I guess I find always something from VS because I instantly think that working out must also be a fun way to be the fashionable self that you are.
Also find some baggy pants and some comfy running shoes or shoes that are suitable for the type of workout you are doing.
In honour of getting the perfect training shoes, I found this pair of trainers of course, they are pink haha! and they are nikes, what else can you ask for ? ok here is the picture of them:

As I was saying, get a pair of baggy pants that can make you sweat even more and push you a lot further with your routine. If you can, get those sauna suits and start working out with the pants or only with the top because working with the both can make you supper hot and make dehydration. So keep a water bottle always next to you while you workout.
Here are some pictures of the Baggy Pants
And a picture of the sauna suits:

Sobe LifeWater Review
Hey guys!
They contain natural flavours and they sweeten their products with Stevia extract which come from a plant and doesn't contain a lot of chemicals like other sweeteners do.
I just started classes, as you may know from my previous post, and in one of my trips to university I purchased the Sobe LifeWater in fuji apple pear and I thought it was good. I had previously tried the one in yumberry pomegranate and I loved it, specially cause it was pink :) but that time I went for the fuji apple pear cause it was different and I'd never heard of it.
Here in Peru we only have two flavours, the black and blue berry is not available but I wish it was because I like the taste, at least, of blue berries. Even though there are more flavours available I think that those 3 are the most popular.
The LifeWaters contain a lot of beneficial components and ingredients to help your health be optimal. The majority of their flavours are 0-calories and they taste good (at least the ones I've tried). They have a wide range coming from antioxidants to energy boosters. The energy boosters are a combination of vitamins B's and they help you go through your day like if you've had a red bull, but in a healthier way.

I really think that this product is really good if you want to treat yourself with other than just water and make a full experience from it.

Habits: Drink Water!
Hey guys!
I recently read in an article that drinking a lot of water is beneficial for the health, and if you want to loose weight you should stay hydrated. This is because when the body is well hydrated the digestion is going to be much more easier and it will prevent the food be stored as fat in your body.
Normally, a person should drink between 8 to ten glasses of water a day, and specially if you exercise you are going to need to rehydrate because of all the water lost while sweating.
It's important to keep in mind that if you drink a lot of water and healthy beverages, your body is going to start feeling more light and that will cause the water to start taking the fat that you have accumulated and realising it.
Stay hydrated and try to keep a routine with it so that you create a habit and it will be very beneficial for your health.
tell me, do you drink a lot of water?
