Welcome May!

Hey everyone!

It's May already, I feel the year is flying by so fast! And of course, you gotta be the best at everything you are going to do. I have been stressing over the university and have witnessed that every day as it gets closer to the last semesters of it, it becomes harder and harder.

Trying to balance every little detail in life is not impossible but it sure is a whole lot of work. I love the challenges but some days I just feel drained and with no energy to get out of bed, but girls gotta do what girls have to do and just keep on going to reach your goals.

I have a pretty nice memory to share with you all since it's May and it's the 4 year anniversary of my prom trip to Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic.

At this time of year, we were all prepping to get our tans on and enjoy the live in the sea. The skies where clear and the seas were super turquoise and crystal clear. Every single bit of the beach was bright and beautiful.

a view from the plane so you can see what I saw :)

I feel like every little detail can be seen down there. The hotel was everything you could've asked for. We stayed at the Tropical Princess and it is part of the Bavaro Princess chain of Hotels.

I was so happy there, I found someone special and saw how pretty life is, and how good you feel while living life at it's fullest.

Talking about this made me want to go back, maybe after graduating university I will travel with some friends over there. Or who knows, maybe I'll go to some other place, like Montercarlo.

I hope you have a nice day and Month.

Fitness Kick!

Hey Everyone!

Today I was thinking on how I was being so lazy and doing no exercise at all. On the morning I decided to do something about it and do it NOW. So I have made myself of a little at home routine which is super easy and effective for me.

Normally I would have done an hour long of my stationary bicycle and them do some crunches and legs and many more localized exercises. This was like 3 or 4 years ago while I was still at high-school. I have now figured out that since I am in college I left over this routine because of lack of time and it was just not in my priority list.

Today I planned this quick, not really time consuming "fitness space" for me to do. It consists of 20 mins on my bicycle separated in 2 times a day. That makes 10 mins in the AM and 10 mins in the PM. I know it seems such a small time and that it will not do a thing for me, but as you know to go from nothing to go to something is really going to help kick start your metabolism again after a long period of time of doing nothing at all.

Here is how it will work for me. I will try to increase the time after a couple of weeks doing this first part of 10-10, 5 more mins in each daily session. That will leave me with 30 mins of cardio daily which is nice and I will not feel it that much. It is just not that time consuming for my busy schedule and I will still have my fitness regime with my new (rediscovered) healthy eating habits.

That is all for this post, I just wanted to let you guys know my little new routine and hope it helps you get into the fitness kick I had today specially if you are a busy person and are just lacking movement in your life!

I hope you are having a great weekend! (just one more day to Easter!Who's excited?)

Habits: Drink Water!

Hey guys!

I recently read in an article that drinking a lot of water is beneficial for the health, and if you want to loose weight you should stay hydrated. This is because when the body is well hydrated the digestion is going to be much more easier and it will prevent the food be stored as fat in your body.

Normally, a person should drink between 8 to ten glasses of water a day, and specially if you exercise you are going to need to rehydrate because of all the water lost while sweating.

It's important to keep in mind that if you drink a lot of water and healthy beverages, your body is going to start feeling more light and that will cause the water to start taking the fat that you have accumulated and realising it.

Stay hydrated and try to keep a routine with it so that you create a habit and it will be very beneficial for your health.

tell me, do you drink a lot of water?
