Christmas Party
On Friday, we had the annual End of Year Party of the Organization I work for and this year, we celebrated not only the end of the year, but also how we broke a Guinness World record. It was not an amazing one but we can certainly say we did it in style. We gained the recognition for "The Largest bowl of Quinoa" in the world, and it was something to talk about.
On the other hand, we had the opportunity to all be gathered together and have a good time with good food, good friends and amazing music.
I had a total pampering day before the party, which was an amazing way to start the night.

Dealing with stress: Project Submission Week
Hey Everyone!
As the weeks pass by and we are in the middle of June, for some of us, living in a complete different system than the US and some European countries methods of Universities, it's the most stressful and hideous weeks of all the semester. Project Submissions. Yes, Scary. And horribly stressful. You need to check of the parts of the project are all well structured and well developed and do some final changes to make it all ready for the teachers.
What I like to do during these awfully painful weeks, in order to relief stress, is blast out to my favourite songs and just loosen up for a moment, the best way to make a break and relax for good 30 minutes and then you are back and ready to keep up the work. I do not tend to listen to music while doing written papers from classes such as Management or any hard core thinking process.
Another stress reliever for me is to sit down for a moment, take deep breaths, inhale, exhale and just listen to the way air passes through your air canal. It will make you feel much more light headed and in peace from all the tiny details you have been paying attention for a while. This is also great because it will make your train of thoughts more clear and will help you to look at the problem in a different way and take different courses of action to solve it.

I do not tend to pull all nighters, I hate them! I need to have at least a good 5 hour sleep (which is not bad) or else I'll be a cranky little piece of person and I am not a very pleasant one to be around if I have not slept well. I prefer to sleep it off and continue the next morning setting my alarm clock pretty early.
Somw good other stress relievers are doing any sort of exercise or cardio activity for half an hour to an hour, you will release endorphins and will end up with more willingness and energy to do your work. I know it sometimes just is impossible to fit it in your day or schedule, but just going for a simple walk can do wonders for you. For more about walking click here.
There are tons and tons of practices that you can do, and the above are just a few of my favourites! I hope you find this post interesting.
Tell me, what do you do to avoid high waves of stress during hard weeks of final submissions or even final exams?

An Explanation
Hey Guys!
Sorry I have been so M.I.A. I have been working really hard on school work and barely had time to enjoy myself. Last week was midterm time week and I had to study really hard for all of my classes and I am taking some hard ones this semester. I am in the middle of my whole career and I have to focus a little more on that.
Don't get me wrong, I still love doing this posts and talking with you about dieting tips and exercise. I am going to try to have more posts for you so that my blog is not abandoned. I am trying to manage my time the best way to have my whole life balanced, university, friends, family and of course you guys!
I am going to be working on having it better figured out and have posts for both my blogs.
I hope you guys understand and keep an eye on here to get new news from me and as summer enters slowly the souther hemisphere :)
Love you guys!

Clothes 101: Working out Outfits part 2
Hey guys!
I know it took a lot of time to get the second part of this "series" but I have been watching all the new trends that are coming for the work out kind of business. Now people like the good old spandex pants and even use the leggins as workout pants.
In other words, people love been comfortable is the KEY. I know this is a recurring subject in this type of posts, specially for the girls and women that go for hikes and biking and even inside of a gym for dance classes or boot-camps that make you sweat your life out (FAT BURNING BABY). Now I was planning to make a side note and focus more on the people that like to build up muscle and tone their body and how wearing a perfect outfit can help you to be at the top of that goal.
First of all you need (again) comfortable clothes and a little heavy clothes so that you add a little extra effort
to your work out and push yourself a little further.
wearing some baggy clothes that can make you sweat, is the most important factor to burn the fat and start toning and building up muscle. Remember: always make sure to do the right exercises for the goal you want to achieve with a PT (personal trainer) or in the gym you go to.
A woman always need to have support, remember the essentials by clicking here to see that, and use a sports bra under those clothes. A hoody can make you sweat and it is not so light so it make your workout to have some more intensity.

I found a good deal on them in VS Pink collection and instantly thought that Pink= GIRLY, so I had to add some of their items. The one that I liked the most is the Yoga half-zip Pullover and it has a nice ensemble and comes in a variety of other colours other than grey.

They have zip-up hoodies and hoodies with no zippers, which I personally like the most because I feel that they are more comfortable and the zipper doesn't get in the way while you are running or exercising.
I guess I find always something from VS because I instantly think that working out must also be a fun way to be the fashionable self that you are.
Also find some baggy pants and some comfy running shoes or shoes that are suitable for the type of workout you are doing.
In honour of getting the perfect training shoes, I found this pair of trainers of course, they are pink haha! and they are nikes, what else can you ask for ? ok here is the picture of them:

As I was saying, get a pair of baggy pants that can make you sweat even more and push you a lot further with your routine. If you can, get those sauna suits and start working out with the pants or only with the top because working with the both can make you supper hot and make dehydration. So keep a water bottle always next to you while you workout.
Here are some pictures of the Baggy Pants
And a picture of the sauna suits:

Clothes 101: Working out outfits Part 1
Hey Everyone!
It's Tuesday and what a better way to start your day than having a nice jog or having your own at-home pilates session? To check out my post from yesterday here to see the routine you can do.
But, do you have trouble finding a comfy pair of sweats or to find the perfect outfit to start your exercises?
So, if you are going to sweat, why not do it with style?
I think that every person has their choices, or their go-to favourite pair of sweats and hoodies. My picks for clothes, when i go to workout or even stay at home and do some exercises, are a pair of yoga pants, or shorts, a racer back top and my sneakers.
It all depends on how comfortable you are with the clothes you are wearing. Yoga pants are light and allow a lot of stretching and movement and are your best option if you have a Pilates class, yoga lesson or just hitting the gym. Shorts are perfect for summer to keep yourself cool and to prevent excessive sweating, that, for some people, might be disgusting.
Some people use tank tops or just plain t-shirts. Some might prefer sports bras alone, but if you are not too confident with your body or just not that into showing so much skin you can wear them with a loose tank on top. Sports bras also provide a lot more support, and ladies you know this, when jogging or doing crunches and more.
Another nice idea is to wear a headband to keep your hair out of your face while working out because it can make you loose concentration and it just bothers a lot. Also take a towel to absorb the sweat. They now make everything for people who likes to workout and they make stuff that matches everyone's interests and necessities.
I found this really pretty towel in a site called lululemon.com and it just caught my eye. It is a purple towel and i am in love. It says in the tag "don't be afraid to sweat" and i think they've got a point and they are right! It is not a small sized towel it is a body length exercise towel which i find really interesting because i've never seen something like that before.

Victoria's Secret has in their Pink Collection the most girly sweats, t-shirts and yoga pants i've seen before and they are nice and not too expensive. These are Perfect to feel right when you are working off to have a great body and you feel motivated about it with these kinds of outfits.

these are one of my favourite sweats!
They are the vintage flair pants and they seem so comfortable in order to have stretching and things like that going on.
Keep an eye on Part 2 to come and comment what else would you like to see here.
love,
