Yay for a New Year!
2016 will be an awesome year.
I have come up with several new ideas for this brand new year, which I am pretty excited about and can't wait to start planing and working to achieve my goals.

Welcome back!
I know some of you may be a little confused about what is going on here.
As many of you know, At the begining of the year I decided to move my blog from blogger to wordpress in order to link it to my .com domain www.stephaniearabella.com.
It was working great, all the content was perfectly arranged, easy to manipulate and to edit...until an actualization was supposed to occure. I have no idea what happened, and all of a sudden...it stoped working. Flat dead. With the help of my web development team and partners and friends, we tried everything to regain access and all of the content. We did not failed misserably, but we were trying for way too long, and I grew desperate and finally decided to get back into the blogger platform. So here we are once again. I rely much more in blogger because it has never ever failed me in a way that I could not solve the problem fast enough to keep my blog from running.
I will be making some adjustments now that my blogger blog is connected to my domain and some new and exciting things will be on the way!
I have seriously missed you guys more than anything and we are finally back together at home.
I hope you are having an amazing year and that everything you aimed at is finally coming together.
Kisses,
Stephanie.

Change in life.
The more things I try to get done, the more things I start imagining and the more things I want to do.
There is no exact balance to what I do. I go out, I work, I am trying to manage in a better way this blog and also trying to get some other projects done therefore I am battling with the fact that I like sleeping a lot and the fact of having way more things to do than usual.
Transitions and changes are tough, but if you have a support system right by your side (your loved ones, either family, friends and a love interest) which is strong and are there for you no matter what, it will be much easier.

So today, I want to tell you all that changes are good. Don't be affraid of them. Take the chances that you are presented with and never look back. Everything is going to go great as long as you work hard. But I have to let you know that failure is a possibility, not because you didn't try hard enough, or work hard enough or have the passion enough. It is there, always present, but use it to learn from it and get the strength to pick yourself back up and keep going.
Here is where I get to motivate me, and do some changes. The blog will be changing. It will be transitioning into something else, without loosing its main goal. Starting with the name, which is going to be a little different than it has been now. This change might be visible in the next few days and will go more accordingly to who I am, and my signature in the internet world.
To begin with just telling you this about the name, is amazing. There are far more things that are coming, but fear not, I will be spilling the beans little by little.
I hope you all have a great weekend. Valentine's day is tomorrow, big plans ahead. and have a great time with the ones you love the most!

Baby Lips #FAIL
A while ago I purchased a Maybelline's Baby Lips and said in a previous post that I would see how did it worked and if it was as miraculous as they preached it to be. They claimed that the product would soften the lips increasingly in a 4 weeks time if you used it consistently and religiously. I did this for the first...what...2 weeks, and noticed that my lips got softer at times but later on they got supper chapped and had to pile more of the product up in my lips for them to be soft again, and once the product was fading up, they become chapped again, this was starting to really annoy me exponentially and iIwas becoming moody and not about the topic. This crazy way of applying the product was, in my opinion, just a marketing strategy for people to keep on using it excessively so that they believed that the product was the one being miracolous, when in reality, it was making the lips more chapped and annoying.
My final say about the baby lips? They are not good at all and I won't be repurchasing the product. I really like the other Maybelline products like their mascaras, their nail polishes and their eyeliners, but this one didn't matched up with my expectations and I felt dissapointed when the chap-iness started to occur. Instead of getting softer lips, I ended up with super dry lips, a bad mood and a bad relationship with water (cause it was not helping with the dry-ness).
Baby Lips score: 2 out of 10.

Not an apology nor an excuse.
It has been waaaaaay too long since I posted here. I have nothing to say about it, just that I have been running around like a crazy person and my batteries were always running low by the time I got home. I had no energy therefore no imagination to sit down to write a lengthy blog post or even a small one with pictures in it.
Today is a Sunday of my so-not-summer-vacations from University, and as my last semester approaches, and work is more hectic than ever, I decided that this was enough and started writing. I really do miss time for myself like this, and I feel that in the way I have lost my writing essence. It feels odd and like rusty with the time that has passed by. The last post was on November!? Say what? I have to catch up on a lot of things with all of you, and I will be posting bits and pieces here and there.
Although I haven't been absent on my other social media like instagram and twitter, I feel like nothing compares to writing in a more chit-chatty form which is more familiar and friendly to all. I am not good at wrapping things up, so I will just say...till later alligator!
Merry Belated Christmas and Happy Belated New Year to all!

Fresh and New
So you may have already noticed, SKMS has had a makeover! I am pretty pleased with the end result.
I wanted something that reflected more my style and my life at the moment. Where I could portray how I am trying to balance everything that is going on now. I still love purple, I am trying to gravitate more towards other colors that are also inspiring me.
I was planing a makeover, literally for the longest time, I just had no time to sit and think and picture it all in my mind.
I hope you fall in love with it as much as I am loving it now.

What a week!
I've had a really hard week, it was one of those where everything you do goes wrong and just when you thought nothing could go worse than that, it does. I was desperate! I had build up too much stress that I felt my head was going to explode and all of my body was feeling horribly heavy. I ate due to anxiety (probably way too much that I gained a pound...)
In conclusion, it was horrible! and yes, Monday started and seemed to be a good week, but by Wednesday it was just unbearable. I tried my best not to break down, but that night I couldn't handle it any more.
Exercise! yes, that was the solution. The answer I've been looking for all along those horrid days. I have been on a bad relationship with working out lately. I haven't moved a muscle (literally) in almost a month and a half and it could be longer than that (at least it feels that way).
Doing cycling has always made me feel better and it has an extraordinary effect on my nerves. In that way, I started riding my stationary one. In just 30 mins, it does the charm.I felt relieved and happy. It was all I needed. And I feel more inspired than ever!! I want to keep it up and switch up my routine.

The reason why I stopped exercising was that I had no time, and I love to so, but finding the space is not so easy, 30 mins in the stationary is good. But having under 30 mins workouts would be so much better. BEACHBODY has developed one that is 25 mins long which give you the same results as an hour long workout with just focusing more on the intensity, putting in practice the saying "quality over quantity". I am seriously eyeing it, it seems like so much fun and it might help me relax! which I need more now that I study and work. It is called the FOCUS T25. The launch date is yet to be announced , but you can subscribe to their e-mail list and be one of the first people to know it and get it. I have already joined it so that I can be alert to purchase it. It is going to be great for busy people.
Another thing that is going to go great with it is their foam roller, to loosen up muscles after a extraneous exercise so that you are not as soar as you would be later. I like stretching also to loosen up those muscles! I don't want to walk later like a granny (which I feel I am most of the time). How could I forget? to tone those flappy arms (my case totally!) I might purchase their Dumbbell weight set which includes the 3 lbs., 5 lbs., 8 lbs. weights. pretty cool.

If you didn't notice, I am really motivated and excited about working out. I need to keep it that way, that is why i need to switch it up a little sometimes!
Are you trying to workout more? if you already do, how do you stay motivated?
Disclaimer: BEACHBODY contacted me to talk about their new program and the new products they carry. I have worked with them before. I am not receiving any economic compensation or any other type or form of it. All opinions are my own. I have permission to use their photos in this post in order to show the previously mentioned goods.

Portion Control
Sometimes I will plan posts, sometimes I will write as it comes to my mind.
Lately, I've been trying to stick to a healthier lifestyle, but it just seems like everything is off. When I try to eat less sweets, that's when people start eating them more. The moment I start eating more greens, people just seem to go to a full carb diet. WHAT on earth is going on?
Maybe it's tougher because I start to notice what others are eating due to the fact that I won't be eating that. And that's where the cravings begin with no turning back. Maybe a small chocolate piece, a little pasta over here, a tinzy bit of a coke.
Then I watch tv. And there is where I feel horrible. Depressing. Awful. The other day the VS fashion Show was on. Yeah, like that would've helped to get out of the deep black hole I was in at the moment. Well it did. I said to myself: If those models can be so fit, not being extremely thin, have their curves going but at an a healthy weight, I surely can.
From that moment on, I have been extremely good. I have not cut off anything from what I eat, I just try to eat less, much, much less of carbs, sweets, and all the stuff that just make you feel guilty afterwards eating a huge amount of ice-cream or a whole bar of chocolate.
Portion control. That was the key, and then I don't feel deprived.

I know it's been so long since I posted something about health, fitness or anything like it. It was just because I was struggling, A LOT. I couldn't figure it out right, and I was frustrated that my weight wasn't coming down, and tried many methods, that, to be honest, lasted just couple of days and then I gave up on them. I was not happy, not at all.
Now that we have been on 2013 for 14 days, I wanted to do things right. I enrolled myself on the gym, I start tomorrow. I have been good at eating healthier. And some times I will have some good recipes to share with you!
I hope you have a great start of the week :)

New Social Platform: Pheed
Having a lovely sunny Saturday just makes my spirit lift up. And with that I just wanted to let you guys know that there is great new platform called Pheed. Maybe some of you have already heard about it and some of you may have no idea on what I'm talking about here.
Well up to a couple of days ago, I had no idea on what it was too. I saw Miley Cyrus tweeted about it and that it has awesome apps, like a sound post, a photo post, a video post and also text posts. You can write about twice more than the 140 characters that twitter offers and you have like some options to copyright the content in there.

I can see now why the majority of celebs have an account there to post pictures and videos. It is more safe for them that way.
So I joined. Not that I am a big fan of copyrighting but I had to try it at least for the first photo pheed I uploaded!
Check it out! it seems to have a nice future!
I hope you are enjoying your weekend so far!

My Everyday beauty and makeup routine
I normally don't wear much makeup, just for when I am having a big party, where all my friends or family are going to be and it is a more "fancy" one. I tend to go bare skin to where ever I go. Specially if I am running errands. Not much interesting people to find when you are grocery shopping is there?
Well, lately I've been obsessed with going out, more often, and heading to class, with at least my eyes eye lined, with some mascara and color on my lips. That is all I use.
So my routine starts in the morning by washing my face and moisturizing it, I take a shower every other day. Then I chose my outfit and then get my hands on my eyeliner, mascara and lipstick. The color of lipsticks tend to be very subtle and natural for daily wear. I leave the bold colors for meeting my friends at night and having a good time.

what is your beauty routine?

Miley's Hair..what's going on?
I know it's been a few weeks now, but I just wanted to address this. What is going on with Miley's hair? I think she went a little too far with the I am a grown up, I do what I want with my hair view, but seriously it's such a dramatic change, I am not getting any more used to seeing her like this:

too blond and too short, I liked her brown long curly and healthy hair. It made her look younger and fresh.
I am not saying that she doesn't look great, but it is just something very very new. It's like that time when Emma Watson went in to the hair dresser and came out with this pixie hair cut. She still looked great, but it was something ver very very different from what we were used to seeing her with.

It seems that some celebs just want to break out from their roles that made them mega famous.
have a great day!

Parlez-Vous OPI?
Hey Everyone!
This colour of nail polish is super pretty for winter, it is not super dark. It is a muted colour more like a greyish lilac. It is called Parlez-Vous OPI and it came out with their French Collection a couple of years back. It is classy and feminine. Here is a picture of this pretty colour.
And it goes perfectly with my wall <3 Purple mania love.

Introducing...SKMS

Hey everyone!
This is the new blog where I moved all the content from my prior blogs and I hope it makes a very good home to every memory of the past 8 months we've been together and therefore we can create new and awesome ones from this day onwards.
I have been planning to merge both blogs together but just couldn't find time to do so, and to be honest, i was neglecting and pushing further away the process but I finally said to myself "Stephanie it's time to do this!" and I got my self a cup of freshly brewed coffee and sat down and make it happen.
Here I am going to be able to expand myself and talk pretty much about everything that crosses my mind not only healthy eating and fashion and beauty! I want it to be a source for you to have fun and ask questions that you may want me to help you with.
SKMS are the letters of my name, some exceptions may or may have not been made here. I have always signed with these letters everything that belongs to me, and they have a special meaning for me and i am fond of what it is meaningful for every person and respect it.
I hope you like this new site.
