Fruity Breakfast



Hey Guys! 

Remember the Healthy Spotlight post about mangoes yesterday? Well today I decided to mix it up and make myself a fruit salad for breakfast with a good cup of coffee. 


I mixed mango, watermelon and a banana. It was so good and fresh that I felt the vitamins (can you feel them at all? well i guess so) going in my system haha. 


I think eating a good healthy breakfast is the key to make your day go by full of energy and gives you the amount of vitamins that your body need. I like to always eat a fruit with my breakfast, or if not a fruit always some freshly prepared juice with the fruits I like the most.

Healthy Spotlight: Mangos



I have been recently obsessing over mangos, to be honest I think I've loved them since I was little so I just wanted to share some health benefits this fruit gives to you. 


  • It is rich in pre-biotic dietary fiber, vitamins, minerals, and poly-phenolic flavonoid antioxidant compounds.
  • According to new research study, mango fruit has been found to protect against colon, breast, leukemia and prostate cancers. Several trial studies suggest that polyphenolic anti-oxidant compounds in mango are known to offer protection against breast and colon cancers.
  • Mango fruit is an excellent source of Vitamin-A. Vitamin A is also required for maintaining healthy skin.
So it has a lot of benefits for your health and it is a yummy smelling and tasting fruit, very tropical and summery.

Yummy Mango Juice

Hey guys!


So today has been just a little interesting, i went to have some drinks with a couple of my very deer friends because one them is going to study to the U.S in Kansas in just two days and we needed desperately to see each other before the good-bye and we went to this place and I was not in the mood to ask for coffee so i decided that i was going to have a juice. 


I scanned through the menu to see what fruits they had available and my eye got caught in a raspberry juice, so i decided to go for it. Unfortunately, my dreams were crashed when the waitress said to me that they were out of raspberries. Disappointed as I was, started scanning the menu again and settled finally for a mango juice. They did had Mango and OMG! it was the best juice i've ever tried! It was heaven in my mouth and seemed to me that the fruit was supper fresh and sweet that they didn't had to put any sugar in it. 






So after the disappointing experience with the raspberries, my second choice was so worth it!

Hoping Around!

Finally i got to eat my apple! hahaha

I hope everyone had a great day!

Today, for me, was a busy day and was running from one place to another and doing things from school and everything. That is the most important thing to me right now and to make my lifestyle change the smoothest as i can and trying to balance everything out is just sometimes too hard and maybe some break downs are on the way. But i know habits are something that people need to reinforce on themselves in order to be successful in what ever they engage  with. I am very methodical in what i do and like am sort of a control freak.

So when i say HOPING AROUND, i literally am hoping around so my diet for today was an apple, a mango, another fruit that i don't know how to write haha and a cream cheese sandwich, not a the perfect meal but a lot healthier than eating potato chips and all that greasy fast food.

I had no time to eat that well so that was my go-to food. i had breakfast really early in the morning because i had classes all morning and all afternoon till 9 at night. I am so sleepy but i need to finish some more homework due for this week.
