My new Internship
As many of you may already know, I was struggling so bad with finding some internships and I was trying to figure out what to do with my life now that I had to be a grown up. Well, the day has come where I get to go to an office and do actual stuff. I got my very first internship and I am head over heels about it.
I am now working with an awesome team of people over at the World Trade Center here in Lima, and it is just so nice to get to see how things are done. My first week went great, except for a very funny incident that caused the light to go out for an hour on Friday morning. That will be another story to tell here.
My first task, update the database of chambers of commerce and embassies and call and make sure that all of the data was up to date (duh! that's why it's called "updating" right?).
It is a part-time internship, meaning that the office hours are flexible. And for me, that is the best thing. I will start university again in March so that it is going to be adapted to what my classes require and the demand that they have of my time.
I am so happy to be working there, if you can't already tell, and I will be updating more about this subject soon.
I hope you are having a great week so far and that everything you do give you satisfaction.

Calvin Klein
This post is going to be a little different, I will have a section in Spanish and one in English due to the fact that I have awesome news to my fellow Peruvian (specially the ones living in Lima) friends.
Calvin Klein llega a Ripley!
Wow, writing in spanish is a lot harder than I thought it would be at the moment. I apologize if I've had some grammar mistakes, it's just that my whole life i've been exposed to English and with the globalization issues we have to deal with daily is just easier for me. I don't know why, that's just how I came about.
So Calvin Klein is launching in Ripley and it is huge news! They already have a store in the open boulevard at our big mall and it is so nice to have it more available. I love it, love it, love it!
I hope you enjoy the shopping and go there ASAP!

Sunday Funday: Rambling on and on
Hey Everyone! (I tried not to start this way but it was just something I missed!)
It's been a good week end. I ate way too much yesterday, we celebrated the independence day of Peru and had to go to a buffet. Yes, I ate half my weight in food. It's almost impossible to get in shape when you have such good food to indulge in!
Later we got home and rested for a while and then had to take off to a family party, where sweets and drinks are never a miss and just when you though you weren't able to eat anything else, well, you can eat more. And drink more. It is very rare to have all the family united, so when we have a chance, we have a great time and the perfect excuse to celebrate some more.

I seriously need to work out 3 times harder this week to get rid of al the excess weigh gained in just two days! but it was all worth it.
Today, we are all going to see Hairspray the Musical that is showing in the Japanese Theatre in Lima and have just a couple more shows this season. I hope it is as good as they are claiming it to be. I am a very musical person in that sense. Everything Music related has my attention!
On top of that, my dad just came in and said he's taking us to eat lunch at a sea food restaurant. Oh food. It's all over the place! well I have to get ready if I want to survive this food attack!
Hope you are having a great week end and have a hell of a good week start!

Agenda: Crazy Student
Hey Everyone!
I am a crazy student when it comes to organize everything and wanting to know what to do with my time. With all the tasks and exams and tests and presentations it always comes in handy to have an agenda that will make you have everything sorted out.
For this year, I've bought one really nice and it was cheap and I just love it. It was hand made and is covered in fabric. A very original one and a very representative style from the Peruvian Highlands. It has a complete page for a day and goes from January to December.
The academic year here starts on March and ends the first days of December. In University we have two semesters, one starting the month mentioned at the beginning (March) and the other semester beginning on August (that was quite a representation haha)
I buy an agenda every year! I just can't live without one because I'm pretty sure I will miss out on a lot of things to do. I might not even show up to a TEST! which would be a tragedy. I actually don't get how some people remember everything they have to do without one..or maybe they just don't...huh? well this is the current one I'm using and I feel it's so good and pretty. It is cushioned even!
It's small and great to throw in your purse and have it with you all day. Normally I will write in it with a blue or black pen, I am really weird about that but what I like to do is to use highlighters when I need to mark the things I have already done for the day (as you may see in some of the pages in blue highlighter).
Tell me if you'd like me to do some post about my University life experience or else related with my career and such! I would be pleased to answer and share my experiences with you guys!

This side of the globe...
Hey everyone!
xo,
S.A
So most of you know I live in Peru. Here we have a very diverse weather and it drives me crazy. We are supposed to be in winter right now, but here's the thing, I just don't know how to dress properly for the crazy, hot-cold season.
I have a love for coats and blazers, those chubby cardigans and sweaters that are awesome for winter. Last year I stocked up with quite a very good variety of them eyeing that this year I'll be able to use them. Well I was wrong up to some point. I can still wear them but with some serious layers going on under them.
What I do:
1) A tank top of a solid colour.
2) A long sleeve blouse, which is a light weight
3) a Cardigan
4) a coat or a blazer depends on the weather and if whether I want to be a cosy bear or a more executive like, but warm girl.

Through out the day, the weather is just crazy, at 8 am, it's freezing cold. As the morning goes by, it might be sunny, or it might be somewhat warmer so the coat/blazer is not needed. and in the afternoon we are back to freezing cold and strong cold winds...
Oh! How I love living in such a varied environment (I might prefer all the way cold or all the way hot but not like this!), I might just fly to the Caribbean one of this days, or the North Pole. Which ever is better.
This is how my days are like in bipolar Lima, Peru. Still it's a lovely place and love how diversity characterizes it (speaking of bipolar! hahaha)

S.A
