My new Internship

As many of you may already know, I was struggling so bad with finding some internships and I was trying to figure out what to do with my life now that I had to be a grown up. Well, the day has come where I get to go to an office and do actual stuff. I got my very first internship and I am head over heels about it.

I am now working with an awesome team of people over at the World Trade Center here in Lima, and it is just so nice to get to see how things are done. My first week went great, except for a very funny incident that caused the light to go out for an hour on Friday morning. That will be another story to tell here.

My first task, update the database of chambers of commerce and embassies and call and make sure that all of the data was up to date (duh! that's why it's called "updating" right?).

It is a part-time internship, meaning that the office hours are flexible. And for me, that is the best thing. I will start university again in March so that it is going to be adapted to what my classes require and the demand that they have of my time.

I am so happy to be working there, if you can't already tell, and I will be updating more about this subject soon.

Obsessing Over: Cross-body bags

I have been recently in love with every type of cross body bags, the long strap is just amazing and it give a level of comfort when shopping (duh! shopaholic talking). I had a quite few when I was young, because they where comfortable enough for me to play around and not have anything falling off of  my shoulder and misplacing them (that happened a lot). 

Don't think I have ditch big bags at all. Of course I haven't. I Still love them as much as I love my cross body. They are still super convenient when you have to carry around all of your life to get to classes and work. Which, by the way, I will be doing some post about that soon (sooner than what you expect). 

In the mean time, I will show you which are the cross body bags that are on my wish list.

Six Days of no-blogging

Happy February everybody! 

As you can see, I have been absent for a few days. It's been crazy. My dad's surgery went great (he come back home tomorrow) I have been spending quality time with my family and just hanging out at the hospital. I really love the fact that that hospital has big gardens and you can go out and breath some fresh air and enjoy of pretty days. Most would say  that hospital food is just not so appealing. Well, in this case that statement doesn't apply. The food is so great! At least the cafeteria food. I've been working out extra time these days!! 

That is my very exciting life! I have no new things to share for the moment, I have some blog post ideas that I will be showing you through this week and the next! 

I know it's a very short post but I just don't like to be that MIA on here, it just feels wrong and I miss it soooooooooo much
