Rrefreshing your fitness routine

On a very pretty Tuesday winter day, I have been caught up with the routine. I thought to myself, why not do some extra variation on what you do, fitness wise, instead of just doing the cycling and or walking? I have found that some fitness videos are a great way to keep you entertained and making everything a little more out of the "everyday" tids and bits of it.

I recently came across Beach Body. A company that  make the various different workout and fitness videos, they also have some nutrition in the way (the whole package right?).

I already knew that their Insanity program is very popular and also their Brazil Butt Lift. I have heard very good reviews of them. I am thinking on trying them out to see how good are they.

On their page, I saw that they are coming out with the Brazil Butt Lift Master Series (still in development) so if you have already the regular program you might want to step it up some more. Another program that has me sweating just by looking at it is the Asylum volume 2, from the insanity series. The video on the page just makes you oh so tired. But you can see that it gives a full body workout. Which, in my opinion, is not bad at all!

But, there is always a but, I though that the asylum vol.2 was too advanced for me to try it just yet, maybe in the future, when I get used to it, I will try it.

The one workout video I am most excited about, which is also in development and almost ready for pre-order, is the Les Mills Combat. Which is a mix of various martial arts. I love the stamina that the martial arts give to your body. They are great for fat burning. I used to do Tai-Chi with a Chinese expert in the art. I know what you are thinking...It's a sport for grannies...but it is more than it meets the eye. It is all about learning to use your inner strength and project it towards the attack of or "enemy". Well that was a little random, but I really enjoyed it. And if something is Asian and typical PLUS the combination of losing weight in a fun way, I will definitely try it! :) I am a little kid when it comes to having fun and doing the things I love <3

I hope you check all the new programs and see if some are a good fit for you and most importantly, that they help you get fit having fun and challenging yourself.

Have a great day!

Healthy Spotlight: Healthy Eating and top 10 foods to improve your diet!

Hi everyone

i was searching the internet and kind of stumbled upon an amazing site that shows how to balance your food and making it fresh ans not boring at all. http://www.healthyfoodtips.org/ shows how to plan a meal and which foods to combine in order to take a full vitalizing and vitamin intake of good foods. They help to keep your body free of bad stuff such as saturated fats that, if consumed too much, can fill your arteries and block them with the grease and cause heart attacks, embolisms and more.

It is a good thing that more people are being aware of what they eat so that the obesity is taken over with healthy choices and the life expectancy is longer.

Now i also found a good site that talks about the 10 healthiest foods in the world and I was amazed with it and realized that we sometimes just don't know the benefits a banana has or a kiwi, which are really good.
http://www.livestrong.com/article/89515-healthiest-foods/ It is a study from the Lance Armstrong Organization LIVESTRONG.

I hope you guys find this information useful and feel free to send me your comments and how you take healthy food habits in your life.

XO,
A

So the past days i had been eating really healthy and got just one sweet treat! that is a plus for me. but weighed myself after a week but i can't seem to be losing any of the weight! and i feel so frustrated! i have reduced my food ingestion and changed for the good and healthy food. I don't know what else to do, i need some advise and   totally have to make some other changes in order to lose the amount of weight i want to shake off.

New Diet, new life style

Hello everyone! this is my first entry in this blog. With it i am going to try to make my way through the process of losing weight at lot easier because i need some support and with it i hope everyone gets inspired and follow my footsteps into a healthier life style.

Here is an intro to what I am like dieting wise. I have a super sweet tooth that i need to control. literally i love all about sweets and candies and all that GOOD stuff i love the cupcakes, lolli pops, cakes, flans, pudin and oh god, just talking about it makes my mouth water. Also I love good food, and all food really, I live in Peru so it is normal for us peruvians to appreciate our cuisine and eat it right with rice and potatoes even though you shouldn't mix them both. Another thing you should know is that i am LAZY so lazy that the song by Bruno Mars seems so active! so working out is not an option for me, at least those long and tiring hours at the gym. I am a University student and my time is partially limited and my energy is all drained by long hours of study and moving from one place to another, so that is part a workout for me.

Now, on to the hard business, dieting. I have opted to reduce my consumption of bread, cut completely the fried stuff because it is so not healthy and it goes into the fat of your body more quickly. I can not live without any sweets so i am going to allow myself have just one small piece of anything sweet to satisfy my sweet cravings, Also include vegetables to the diet because the green in them help to burn out some of the extra calories you intake when you eat not so healthy food. you should never cut out everything because if you go to eat one day and are just not in the mood to eat just "plants" it's not going to harm your diet that much if you were eating everything but just in small portions.

This is a long way to walk but i am going to do my best to keep it up!

Wish me luck and i hope you get inspired!
