Run

On a rather gloomy Sunday morning I decided it was time to run. It was really refreshing and I had fun at it. It was the first time I ran in the morning and I feel brand new.

I will start doing this more often than not, whenever I have the time during the week. I feel motivated and full of energy after that.

New Face

You may have noticed the new image of the blog. I wanted something simple, sleak and with not so much going on. I opted for just a gray background image with a little of texture and just some fun pops of color with the links and titles.

I felt it was time for a change as new transitions and exciting things are going on with my life and learning to love the simplicity and little things which come with new beginnings.

A freeze on spending

I have had this idea for a while, to save money and spend it in something that is going to be the best investment for me over time. But every time I wanted to save up, things came up, social gatherings, going out for friends birthdays, eating out to catch up with friends, that one coat that was screaming my name from a far, the pair of shoes that combined perfectly with the coat, the bag that was awesome with the shoes that combined with that coat and so on and so forth, which meant I never had the availability of cash in order to save it up and create a fund for my "big" investment. 

Yeah, no shopping for me 

This time, it is all different, I have a goal and want to achieve it by the time I graduate in October (lets just call it my graduation present to me from me) and I am on a roll. This is why I am on a spending freeze 'cause there is nothing else that I need which is not of life and death. There are still social gatherings and compromises I need to attend, but there is still some discretionary money that I have budgeted in order to spend on those things. 

I have no idea on how all of this is going to go but I hope it will be great. It is worth it working towards something you really really want, and once you achieve it, the feeling is just incredible.

Sunday dreaming

Mondays are somewhat dreadful, specially if there are projects and tests and other million things to do for the week. I am almost a month from ending my senior year at University and things could not be more hectic than right at this moment. Stress is flowing through my veins and there is a lot lot lot to do so there is little space for rest.

This brings me to my next point in which I really think that maybe, just maybe, it should be illegal for people to have to work or do assignments of any kind, so there should only be one day to just stay in bed and have a date with a Netflix marathon of your favorite show. Yes please! 

Well, enough for the weekend (Sunday) rant. I just need sleep!
